Multiple local organizations (Rotary clubs, Service League, Home State Bank, AmVets, American Legion, booster clubs, Cary Fire Dept., etc.) are offering scholarships to seniors in District 155. One common application is used for most of them. Pick it up in the College & Career Center and turn it in by April 7th. Finalists will be selected and then interviewed on April 19th. Scholarship amounts usually range from $500-$1000 and are one-time awards. Selection is based on a variety of things: some organizations consider financial need, others consider academic and extra-curricular achievement.
