District 155 > Curriculum and Assessment

 Curriculum & Assessment

District 155 offers a comprehensive curriculum at its four high schools and the Haber Oaks Campus. As evidenced by the 90% of graduates who continue their education beyond high school, the students, teachers, and staff take great pride in the standard of academic excellence present throughout the district.

The district's curriculum and assessment office answers three essential questions for all students:

  1. What do we want our students to learn?
  2. How will we know that they have learned it?
  3. How will we support students who do not learn key lessons the first time?

The office does this by working with parents, teachers, the student services offices, and other administrators to plan and implement courses, offer and analyze assessments (i.e. PSAE, ACT, EXPLORE, AP, etc.), and create collaborative time for teachers to create successful interventions for struggling students.

The links on this page provide information that is the basis for the district's strong academic pedigree.
