General Information
Gator Link Crew is a freshmen transition program.  Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors work directly with the freshmen in Freshmen Orientation and throughout the year in the Freshmen Seminar Classes.  The goal of Link Crew is to make the transition from middle school to high school a fun, positive transition.
Eligibility Requirements
Any sophomore, junior, or senior is eligible to be a member of Link Crew, they simply have to apply.   The goal is to have Link leaders from all aspects of the CLS population, who are "givers" and tend to not be too overloaded in regards to extracurricular activities.
Joining Procedures
Applications are available in early March and due before spring break. New members are then emailed by mid-April regarding their acceptance into the mentor program.
Time Commitment
Crew members are required to attend one training day in May, one in the summer, freshmen orientation day, which is the day before school starts, and attend several social gatherings.   Link leaders sponsor a variety of activities to get the freshmen connected to CLS. The Link leaders also do other community service fundraisers, and volunteering as we feel it is important to give back and "pay it forward"!
Meets
Every other Thursday there is an all Crew member meeting in which we discuss topics that the Sr. Executive Board puts on the Agenda. This is time to reflect on Freshmen Foundations and/or prepare for a service activity. A calendar is emailed to all members through Google Calendar.
