General Information
National Honor Society is for Juniors and Seniors exhibiting the qualities of Scholarship, Service, Leadership and Character.  Students are selected for induction in the fall of each year and participate in school and community service projects during the school year.
Eligibility Requirements
Students must have a grade point average of 3.75 and exhibit qualities of Scholarship, Service, Leadership and Character.  Juniors and Seniors with a grade point average of 3.75 are invited to apply to NHS in the fall of each year. Applicants are evaluate by a panel of faculty members and chosen for induction.
Joining Procedures
Students are invited to join based on grade point average requirements.  Students who receive an invitation to apply must fill out the online application and submit it to the faculty advisors as directed.
Time Commitment
Students are required to perform 24 hours of community service.  Members are also required to participate in several NHS mandatory service projects throughout the year totally approximately 10-15 additional hours of service.  In addition, members are required to attend meetings when they are called. 
Meets
In addition to several NHS mandatory service requirements, there is at least one meeting per quarter.  NHS members will also be responsible for electronic meetings- either via email or the website.
